About Us
Me and Tom (I’m Craig), we are the 68Comeback Special which is, first and foremost, our radio show on good ol’ CJSR-FM in Edmonton, AB, Canada. That’s Thursday afternoons from 3 to 5 pm, pilgrim.
This blog? Quite frequently it’s about our radio show because as far as we’re concerned, just about everything in the world is about our radio show. But it doesn’t have to be, you know; Tom’s a writer and I am too, we’ve got a variety of interests and you shouldn’t pigeonhole us, okay? If there’s anything you should be doing, at the very least it should be going to that RSS feed button and subscribing to this blog, or sending us (especially me) money.

That was the Cool Kids, “Popcorn,” from, uh, an album that’s either not come out yet, or maybe it came out a long time ago… called “Gone Fishing,”…So yeah, so um, make sure to check that out.

My name’s John and I play upright bass For the Band Sam Spades. In a nut shell we are a roots rockabilly band. We are from Edmonton and are having our ep release January 31st at the Pawn shop. The Frolics are also releasing an album at the same show. I’m going to drop a copy of our disc off at the station. Check it out! If you would play it on your show that would be awesome!
The show’s 10 bucks, which is not free but considering there are four bands on the bill it’s a pretty sweet deal! The other bands are AKU AKY and Bryan Coffey and the Best Friends. All bands are from Edmonton! And all band members are nice people!
